A Tale of Comfort as A Child
I crouched over the curb, head hung, my hot tears disappearing into my pink shoelaces. Sobs rattled through my slight frame, and my heart ached and choked my throat with the unbridled pain of a child. I now barely remember the slight that boiled such feelings of betrayal in me, but in that moment my hands clenched so hard that my thin nails tore small pink moons into my palms.

New Year's Resolutions
Get up 30 minutes earlier for meditation/quiet time.
Continue building up my running routine, until I’m running 30 minutes straight. (Estimated time: 3 months)
Eat more vegetables. My plate: 1/2 veggies, 1/4 protein, 1/4 carbs.
Take more photographs. (Try the 365 project. Again.)
Drink less Starbucks. (Which, consequently, mean I need to GET MORE SLEEP.)
Eat out less.
